MODUS OPERANDI
Magnus Tempus 360° works through residencies, commissions, exhibitions, research-led programmes, patronage and international collaborations. Its method is rooted in artistic mobility, cultural exchange and the belief that serious creative work develops through sustained dialogue with place, history, community and wider international contexts.
Spearheaded by Visionary Leadership
Magnus Tempus 360° was founded by Halime Eleni Özdemir di Larusso and developed from the wider production, patronage and cultural work of Producer 360°. While founder-led, the platform is collaboration-driven, bringing together artists, curators, writers, producers, institutions, patrons and cultural partners around each programme.
Deeply personal in origin, the platform is shaped by Halime’s lived connection to Cyprus, Italy and the Southern Mediterranean. It brings together artistic research, public programming, patronage, dialogue and international exchange, creating conditions for artists and thinkers to develop work in meaningful conversation with place, history and one another.
-
Magnus Tempus 360° creates structured environments for artists, filmmakers, writers and cultural practitioners to develop work through research, dialogue and exchange. Programmes move across coastal, urban and historic contexts in Cyprus, including Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia, while extending into Italy through exhibitions, collaborations and new cultural partnerships.
Participants are invited to engage with Cyprus as a living cultural landscape, developing work in conversation with artists, communities, institutions and place. The platform’s approach is practical as well as conceptual, supporting the conditions through which artistic research can move towards public presentation and international visibility.
-
The Cyprus–Italy route is central to the platform’s next chapter. Following its launch in Cyprus in 2025, Magnus Tempus 360° is developing activity in Italy, including Rome and forthcoming presentations in Pescara, creating practical routes for Cypriot artistic research to enter wider Mediterranean and European contexts.
This route builds on long cultural dialogues between Cyprus, Italy and the wider Mediterranean, while supporting contemporary artists whose work is rooted in Cyprus to move beyond the island’s established cultural circuits.
-
Magnus Tempus 360° supports artistic practices that question inherited narratives, open new perspectives and create space for cultural exchange across boundaries. The platform values artists as researchers, witnesses, makers and cultural agents, supporting work that is bold, reflective and rooted in place while remaining open to wider international dialogue.
-
Magnus Tempus 360° is not designed as a one-off programme model. Its work is built around continuity: supporting artists before, during and after a residency, exhibition or commission through production care, patronage, advocacy, documentation and international connection.
Through this approach, Magnus Tempus 360° works to build lasting cultural visibility for artists and cultural voices connected to Cyprus, positioning the island not as a periphery, but as a point of departure for contemporary Mediterranean exchange.
